Dila Demircan Özer is a Vienna-based sociologist and social designer whose work is deeply inspired by nature and biodiversity. Her artistic endeavours focus on playful interventions, performances, textile manipulation, and creative manifestations.Operating at the intersection of society, nature, and speculative design, she explores ways to make sustainability accessible. She experiments with environment-centered design methods, crafting innovative solutions that merge artistic expression with ecological awareness.
She holds an M.A. in Social Design: Art as Urban Innovation from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (2021-2023) and a B.A. in Sociology from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul (2012-2016).
